LearnersMot2 Project

Erasmus+ KA2

Project description

The LearnersMot2 project is a continuation of the Erasmus+ LearnersMot project and focuses directly on adult educators and indirectly on older workers with low educational attainment and qualifications. Considering the aging of the working population in EU countries, the project aims to establish a continuous supportive learning environment for adults aged 45 and above with low educational attainment and qualifications.

To achieve this goal, there is a need to enhance workers’ literacy, numeracy, cultural, communication, social, and technological skills. This will empower them to successfully carry out their daily tasks, both personal and professional, and nurture their ability to learn independently from their environment.

Project objectives

  • Promoting continuous motivation among low-educated and low-skilled workers.
  • Enhancing the professional competences of adult educators to establish a non-formal learning environment for their learners.
  • Understanding the nature and process of technological socialization/education.
  • Introducing aspects of numeracy and mathematics applied to everyday life situations.
  • Strengthening the basic skills required for work and daily life and improving their learning skills.

Project results

  • Conceptual framework, outline, and materials for the online course for adult educators.
  • Web application for adults with a low level of education and qualification.
  • LearnersMot Gym: a resource library and blended learning course for adult educators.
