Project Description

This project promotes sustainable transformation in the agri-food sector by providing SMEs with modular training, mentoring, and a digital diagnosis ecosystem focused on regenerative leadership and the green transition. The objective is to reduce the skills gap and support the adoption of eco-certification standards through collaborative "Community Food Education Hubs" across Europe.

Project Objectives

  • Develop training programs for SME managers based on the SDGs and ISO standards to integrate sustainable business strategies in the agri-food sector.
  • Create digital self-assessment tools to map the competencies of leaders and employees, identifying weaknesses and regenerative solutions.
  • Implement workplace mentoring programs to equip employees with intrapreneurship skills aimed at making agri-food processes more sustainable.
  • Support SMEs in their transition toward sustainability by facilitating access to official ecological certifications, both national and international.
  • Position adult education centers as key drivers of change through strategic investment in upskilling and reskilling the agri-food workforce.
  • Foster cooperation among businesses, educators, and policymakers to exchange knowledge and build a resilient, technology-based European supply chain.

  • An open-access digital Diagnosis Model that provides personalized sustainability assessments and guidance for both individuals and organizations.
  • A comprehensive mentoring-based development program that includes digital resources, progress tracking, and professional sustainability skills portfolios.
  • A certification readiness support scheme offering practical guidelines and peer learning to facilitate the adoption of official eco-certifications.
  • A sustainability curriculum and support system for trainers, co-developed and available through Open Educational Resources (OER).
